Taking the opposite view of the anthropocentric vision that places man above nature, I defend the idea that humans, "sensitive and vulnerable beings", have limits like all other organisms that make up the web of life. I believe this perspective is useful for re-establishing peaceful relationships with our peers, particularly in business, and living in harmony on our beautiful planet, this precious good that does not belong to us.
I have taken this inspiring term of 'chain of life' to name my showcase website, a concept imbued with notions of rebirth and continuity of life, as symbolised in Greek mythology by the almond tree blooming again each spring, and whose fruits I have marketed for a quarter of a century.
Beyond its role as a cross between a blog and a showcase, this site keeps a virtual flame lit, symbolized by the red icon ◉ at the bottom of the page, in memory of those I refer to above as sensitive and vulnerable beings, who have suffered cruelty, discrimination, exploitation, or physical and psychological violence in their professional, family, or social lives. Everyone is born with a unique path; no one has the right to break its thread to satisfy needs for power, domination, or to give in to base instincts, betraying their own conscience.

Those who know me professionally are aware of my discretion. I have always made sure to observe a strict duty of reserve in the company, as well as in public, out of concern for dignity and to avoid pretenses, even if it worked against me, which I realized too late. I am happy to now be able to express myself openly on chaine-du-vivant.com to highlight themes that seem important to me, while leaving gaps open to interpretation.

Associate broker of MONNIER & PARTNERS SAS from 2000 till 2025, a company marketing dried fruits on international markets founded in 1996 by members of my family initially joined by Mr. Horst W. PALM*, I specialized in organic agricultural products. Then, following the trend, I became interested in reducing packaging, particularly plastic materials, and in sourcing solutions that improve the carbon footprint of imports, such as intra-continental circuits. Finally, I ensured that my business negotiations were conducted with a high level of kindness and rigor, based on the principle that I should handle my clients' affairs with the same care as my own interests. These are the three areas in which I have developed my expertise, outlined in English for clarity:

I have endeavoured to apply in my work this approach that I believe to be beneficial and in accordance with a broad consensus prevailing in the agrifood sector, which remains guided by logics inherited from the past, particularly ruinous in terms of food waste, energy waste, and pollution throughout the supply chain. a word of conjoncture
The COVID-19 pandemic reminded us that one of the smallest living organisms can overpower the greatest heads of state, and that life on Earth, shaped by humans not without deep wounds, can thrive while Homo sapiens remain confined. On the other hand, geopolitical news and the race for technological innovations have heightened awareness of the scarcity of our planet's resources.
Optimistic by nature, I nevertheless fear that our world is caught in a form of "Easter Island Syndrome," a fact revealed daily in agriculture, as well as in the fields of industry and construction, to name just a few that I am somewhat familiar with.
I believe it is no longer conceivable to continue along the path opened by the industrial revolution of the 19th century if we want to pass on a fertile ground to future generations. A path to salvation involves simple solutions such as resorting to alternative farming, respecting the seasonality of soil products, or prioritising local harvests, which is a set of principles that have governed agriculture for about 8,500 years. Organic was the norm until the advent of petroleum derivatives, sources of energy, fertilisers or pesticides in the race for yields, to the detriment of soils, waters and our own future.
A wonderful world has been waiting for us for a long time, since we no longer inhabit our Earth.
